This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you in connection with your use of EDOHub services, including those offered through our websites, communications (e.g., emails, phone calls, voicemails, notifications, and texts), and mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). The terms “we,” “us,” and “EDOHub” refer to Signafide LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, and its clients.

When you use the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. Please also review the Terms and Conditions , which are incorporated herein by reference, to understand better the nature of the Service and your relationship with us.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

We may collect, transmit, share, and store information about you in connection with your use of the Service, including any information you send through the Service. We use that information to provide the Service’s functionality to clients and licensees, respond to your requests or reports, improve the Service’s quality, engage in research and analysis relating to the Service, personalize your experience, track usage of the Service, market the Service, provide technical support, message you, back up our systems, allow for disaster recovery, enhance the security of the Service, and comply with legal obligations. Even when we do not retain such information, it still must be transmitted to our servers initially and stored long enough to process.

    Please also note:

    1. Account Information

When you create an EDOHub account, we use, share, and store the information you provide during that process, such as your first and last name, email address, phone number, and any other biographical information you may provide during the account creation process. We also use, share, and store information about you that may be contained in voter registration records or voter files, and information about you that’s created and collected as you use the Service (such as geolocation, IP address, training records, and reports of your observations). We also use, share, and store certain preferences you provide to personalize your user experience, including notification preferences and shift selections. You can modify some of your account information through your account settings. If you believe someone has created an unauthorized account using your personal information, you can request its removal by contacting us.

    2. Shared Content

Your contributions to the Service, including your identifying information, contact information, location, reports, and photos, are intended for use in election-day operations (“EDO”) and related legal proceedings and are therefore viewable in certain circumstances by other team members, elections officials, political campaigns, attorneys and, if necessary to bring or defend a legal claim, the courts, opposing counsel, opposing parties, and the public.

    3. Activity

We store information about your use of the Service, such as your location (including geolocation, beacon based location, and GPS location), dates and times of your check-ins and -outs at polling places, and your reports through the Service. We may also store information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Service, such as type of computer or mobile device, language, IP address, WiFi information such as SSID, mobile carrier, phone number, and unique device identifier. We may also receive and store your location whenever our mobile applications are running, including when running in the background, if you enable our mobile app to access such information in the course of using the Service. You may be able to limit or disallow our use of certain location data through your device or settings, for example by adjusting the settings for our applications in iOS or Android privacy settings.

    4. Different Devices

You may access the Service through different devices (e.g., your mobile phone or tablet computer). The information that we collect and store through those different uses may be cross-referenced and combined, and your contributions through one device or platform will typically be similarly visible and accessible through all other devices and platforms.

    5. Use Outside the United States or by Non-Residents of the United States

Our Service is intended for and available to permanent residents of the United States and its territories only, and in connection with United States elections only. Residents of other countries (including without limitation the European Economic Area or Switzerland) therefore are not authorized to use the Service, and citizens and permanent residents of the United States are not authorized to use the Service in connection with elections outside the United States.

  2. THIRD PARTIES

Third parties may receive information about you as follows:

    1. Clients and Licensees

We allow clients and licensees of Signafide LLC to use and share some of the content available through the Service, such as your identifying information, location, contact information, photos, reports, and other information listed under “Shared Content” in Section 1.2 above.

    2. Service Providers

We rely on third party service providers to support or provide services for us in connection with your use of the Service, such as geolocation services, communications and hosting, security and fraud prevention, technical support, voter registration research, tracking and reporting usage of the Service, quality assurance testing, and other functions. We share information from or about you with these third party providers so that they can perform their services or complete requests. For example, we may share your mobile device identifiers with third party service providers that help us learn or verify the physical location of poll watchers or roving legal teams, or the content of your report with team members who are attempting to resolve ongoing elections irregularities or potential problems. You may limit our access to some of this information through your mobile device settings, as described above, or through the Service’s settings. Our third party service providers may likewise share information with us that they obtain from or about you in connection with providing their services.

    3. Aggregate or Anonymous Information

We share user information in the aggregate with third parties, such as licensee and potential clients. For example, we may disclose to potential clients the number of users that interacted with our platforms.

    4. Business Transfers

We may share information from or about you with parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, and require them to also honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires Signafide LLC, or all or substantially all its assets, that company will possess the same information, and will collect, use, and disclose the information only as described in this Privacy Policy.

    5. Investigations and Legal Disclosures:

We may investigate and disclose information from or about you if we have a good faith belief that such investigation or disclosure (a) is reasonably necessary to comply with legal or law enforcement processes, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other regulatory or law enforcement request; (b) is helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing; or (c) protects our rights, reputation, property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public.

  3. PREAPPROVAL FOR PARTICIPATION IN ELECTIONS PROGRAMS

Although any user may download the EDOHub app and create an account, only users who are preapproved by Signafide LLC or its clients may use the app to participate in a poll worker or poll watcher program. Such approvals are in the sole and unlimited discretion of Signafide LLC and its clients. Approval customarily involves a process for confirming a user’s identity, biographical information, and voter-registration status, and for supplementing the biographical information that you provide to us with additional information contained in voter registration records or other files.

  4. CHILDREN

The Service is intended for general audiences at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. By using the Services, you certify, warrant, and represent that you are at least 13 years of age.

  5. SECURITY

We use various safeguards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and after we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
